D&B Connect IT Operations Assembler/Data Center Technician

D&B Connect is in desperate need of an IT Operations Assembler/Data Center Technician for a renowned company in the region of Mons. A temporary position for several months with the Computer hardware in Hainaut.

For our client, an IT company that specializes in technical issues, we are looking for operations assemblers. You will serve alongside Technicians in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining servers, networking components, and cabling. This can be considered a physically taxing position. You will also gain additional knowledge and experience regarding computers and other associated equipment.

Your duties will include:

• Replace servers that are broken (replace hard drives, replace bad sticks of RAM, etc.)
• Crimp and run the Data Center's cabling
• Learn and utilize diagnostic methods to address the problems associated with the Data Center's equipment

Additionally, you will have to move equipment and engage in physical labor. The person we are seeking has a basic understanding of computer hardware and hands-on experience with new software. You may work alone or as part of a team, responsible for ensuring tasks are completed correctly and swiftly.

You must be adept at working in a physically demanding environment and have a basic understanding of and ability to write and speak English well.
