Inventory Planner - ST Planner, ATS ST LH Planning
Global Recruitment (ATS) is a rapidly growing global business entity with a significant impact on customer experience. The ATS Scheduling team is responsible for creating, publishing and managing land transport timetables to plan inventory in line with customers’ freight needs and ensure planning is in place across the EU network, including UK and Brexit traffic flows.
The team are looking for a Line Transport Planner who will be responsible for managing the requirements for specific planning projects (e.g. Brexit, Global Recruitment, ocean freight etc.) and will be responsible for gathering business requirements to build scalable processes while assisting with identifying technical requirements If necessary, for prototype and product development. Ability to drill down and analyze to drive process improvements and solve complex problems. Line transportation planning and scheduling require good analysis, communication, depth and collaboration skills to successfully complete the above tasks. These skills enable planners to identify process improvement opportunities and drive solutions in the ATS ST area.
Additionally, planners must be able to inspire trust by maintaining best practices in processes and plan implementation, ensuring that all changes are fully consistent and clear to the affected teams as well as impacting various cross-functional teams (e.g. ATS Ops, ROC, AMZL, FC , SC, etc.
The daily responsibilities of the Line Transport Planner are to manage existing planning initiatives/programs against a clear roadmap while delivering difficult projects that are aligned with the planning team's vision: improved booking quality, automation and scalability. Planners optimize existing planning processes and identify solutions facing our internal customers for which the team owns ground transportation plans. In this role, Planners work to solve complex problems related to constraints, demand, and supply. Planning related operational issues.
About the Team The ATS Scheduling team is responsible for creating, publishing and managing land transport timetables to plan inventory in line with our staff's freight needs and customer requirements to ensure planning across the EU network including the UK and Managing Brexit flows.
Planners work with POCs from different organizations such as AMZL, CF etc. to continuously improve the planning process. Each line transport planner needs to manage the requirements of specific planning projects e.g. Brexit, Global Recruitment, Maritime, Inter-Model and ReLO etc. and is responsible for gathering business requirements to build scalable processes.
We are open to candidates who wish to work in one of the following locations: Luxembourg, Luxembourg Basic qualification in two years Supply Chain Management, Economics, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field. Technical expertise in performing planning functions in complex environments. Experience interacting with diverse teams in an organization and achieving results. Fluent communication. Knowledge of MS Office, advanced MS Excel skills and data analysis. Preferred.
Qualifications Innovative approach to solving systems and processes; advanced reading and writing skills (Excel, Word). Tableau/SQL/Python/VBA/Power BI Team-oriented and highly customer-focused.
