HSE Manager – Level ⚠ Prevention Advisor

Part of the management team, responsible for creating a strong safety culture at multiple locations in Belgium (x ⚠ locations). Our partner is a multinational company and a leader in the paints and coatings industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate global HSE strategies into specific local HSE guidelines
  • Lead and be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of consistent safety, health, and environmental policies on site
  • Ensure necessary (internal and external) audits, inspections, and measurements are carried out
  • Conduct risk analysis and develop measures to minimize risk
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to management, HSE EMEA, and relevant official bodies
  • Become a member of the CPBW (Board for Prevention and Protection at Work)
  • Become a member of the site management team and report to the Site Manager

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HSE or relevant field
  • Preferably some relevant experience in the field of HSE in an industrial environment
  • Level ⚠ Diploma in Prevention Consultant
  • Ready to gain a Diploma in Environmental Coordinator A in the near future
  • In-depth understanding of HSE legislation
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, basic knowledge of French
