Job description:

Position: Head of Engineering Department
Company: voestalpine Sadef (Gits)

Key responsibilities:

• Create and design structures made of cold-rolled steel profiles
• Lead a team of international origin with several structural engineers
• Instruct and support the team in the design and calculation process
• Assist the sales team with technical inquiries
• Participate in customer visits and international/national trade fairs

Requirements:

• Degree in civil engineering or similar experience
• Multiple years of experience in a design department
• Proficiency in design software such as SCIA, BuildSoft, Idea Statica, FEA, or FEM
• Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is beneficial
• Familiarity with European standards related to structural design
