Your Mission:

The Automation Director will lead a talented team dedicated to advancing the development, production and management of complex automation systems. Your core responsibilities include:

• Innovation and Development: Create comprehensive functional specifications for new systems, define state-of-the-art automation architecture, manage budgets, and synchronize the work of international teams to achieve integrated solutions.
• Project Management: Lead customer discussions, assess impact, coordinate change management and lead project completion, including hands-on support during commissioning.
• Lifecycle Monitoring: Optimize software configuration, troubleshoot, handle post-delivery changes, and resolve component obsolescence challenges.
• Team Management: Lead a team of professional automation engineers, align resources according to project requirements, and work with the Technical Director to ensure strategic direction.

Required experience:

Master's degree in Automation Engineering. Minimum of ⚠ years experience in machine automation, preferably in a regulatory field. Proficient in automation platforms and robotics, with extensive experience in delivering complex projects. Proven leadership skills with a talent for driving team growth and development. Fluency in French and English; knowledge of German is an advantage but not mandatory.
