GSQ Analyst


About the Position

The Global Supplier Quality Analyst is the number one person responsible for ensuring compliance, quality and food safety of BC suppliers, raw materials and packaging materials worldwide. Analyst Responsible for one or more material categories or supporting projects (such as acquisitions and integrations), this role independently evaluates suppliers and materials for compliance with regulatory, quality and food safety requirements. Analysts use their knowledge and expertise to evaluate, negotiate and qualify materials and suppliers according to standard procedures. This role collects and interprets technical data on raw materials, semi-finished products and packaging materials and assigns status (release, reject, conditional release).

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of demand portfolios in supplier relationship management tools and packaging tools; filling in required materials and supplier forms and constantly checking the information provided here for completeness and accuracy and further preparing it for processing in the SAP system Creation of forms; matching risk profiles to the correct goods, or risk analysis as instructed and based on own knowledge and experience; specification management (verification and approval) and front-line communication with suppliers; evaluation of new raw materials, semi-finished products, packaging Applications for materials and/or suppliers; or changes thereto; to assess whether analysis of supplier samples is necessary and, where appropriate, to perform such analysis.
  • Define correct legal notices (e.g. ingredients list) for materials maintained in BC SAP for all languages ​​and destinations; Administrative questionnaire; Manage and maintain Kosher from the moment the administrator upgrades the certificate based on substantive discussion or technical complexity Raw material certificates such as Kosher, Halal or GFSI; Verification of raw material declarations; Managing complex customer support cases; Managing food alert escalations; Assigning test plans to materials and suppliers; Creating and maintaining work instructions that describe your own activities even These activities extend beyond your own category; participate in (improvement) projects; support and train activities of other colleagues around the world; answer questions from internal and external stakeholders; support customer service in resolving complex customer cases.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Biotechnology or equivalent degree obtained through a combination of education and experience; Language: Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages ​​is a great advantage (French, Spanish, Russian - depending on location);
  • Digital skills: Professional experience with Excel, Word, SAP and Salesforce a plus; Knowledge of food or feed production processes; Food, pharmaceutical or feed industry ⚠+ years of work experience; experience working in a (GFSI) certified environment; understanding of food safety and food legislators preferred; self-organized, able to work independently; analytical thinking, ability to efficiently manage multiple data and information; good with stakeholders Management; team player; able to work with different cultures; proactive, high-performance attitude; thinks differently.
