Our partner is looking for experts in green fuels and biomass pharmaceuticals to strengthen its team. You will ensure the coordination and execution of technical support tasks for the Green Fuels team and support customers, primarily European customers. Such activities may involve, but are not limited to: biomass fuel analysis, biomass pretreatment and densification, ATEX and HAZOP for safety, certification and regulatory issues for bioenergy applications, etc.

You will conduct and manage research and innovation projects to advance technology development within the company and move it forward. They proactively carry out service activities related to the entire green fuel value chain, from fuel specification to emissions monitoring. You will identify promising technologies and develop products to meet the needs of potential customers and collaborate with other colleagues to develop development strategies and actively participate in the business development and sales processes of these activities in partnership with Key Account Managers. You will develop and maintain a strong technical network in your field and mentor a team of young engineers. You are able to manage sustainable collaboration with partners and subcontractors. You possess strong non-technical skills such as solid project management and customer-focused approach. Previous business or business development experience is an advantage.

You may need to carry out on-site interventions in Belgium and abroad. You'll work alongside a support team and have professional development opportunities to help grow your career. You have an MSc or PhD in Electrical Mechanical Engineering or equivalent background and at least ⚠-⚠ years of experience in the above field. You are fluent in English and French; knowledge of other foreign languages ​​is an advantage. You have a strong understanding of green fuels (biomass, hydrogen, etc.) and their use in energy applications. You will have the knowledge to perform on-site tasks, including interacting with facility personnel and management. You have experience in developing industrial projects, managing technical specifications and supplier negotiations, commissioning, etc., taking on project management and coordination roles within the team, establishing and maintaining networks with research centers/OEMs/⚠rd parties; you create a win-win situation cooperation, has good communication skills, understands customers and is not afraid to convince others, enjoys teamwork and is willing to work with various technical teams within Laborelec (e.g. with chemical, material or I&C experts), arranges regular travel (mainly Europe) Go on short-term assignments lasting a few weeks.
