Global Technology Scouting Specialist

We are looking for a Technical Search Specialist at our D&F Experts Global Research and Development Center in Leuven, Belgium.

By combining your unique exploration and research skills with comprehensive knowledge and understanding of D&F Experts's technology pipeline, you will identify and evaluate emerging technology trends in packaging, process and ingredient technologies. Your results will support the research needs of the R&D team to deliver novel technology solutions that contribute to the implementation of D&F Experts's strategy. In addition, you inform the business area about the latest trends in the field.

Identifies strategic business, investment and technology opportunities in technology areas relevant to Anheuser-Busch InBev and prepares trend and technology reports in selected areas. Interact with business unit representatives and industry experts to gather information and insights, and conduct independent research and analysis to evaluate the trustworthiness and future potential of technology. Gain an in-depth understanding of all relevant aspects of the technology ecosystem surrounding D&F Experts's R&D centers and identify potential opportunities for improvement. Network with startups, companies, the venture capital community and universities who work closely with the Open Innovation team.

• University master's or bachelor's degree or equivalent (chemical engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, engineering, biology, agronomy, brewing science, food science).

Ideal Experience:

• Brings existing scouting network.
• Proven successful experience in managing projects with high complexity and/or risk profiles (product and process feasibility/development/implementation) preferred.
• Advanced technical and/or scientific experience in R&D as an engineer or team leader, global technology search specialist.
