Purpose: Support the Global Recruitment Director in ensuring compliance of current and future priority projects and platforms to best serve our clients, consumers and other key external and internal stakeholders. The Global Recruitment function is responsible for developing a perspective on future risks and opportunities and driving compliance governance across all areas of food law relevant to Global Recruitment, from grains to glass. As part of the GITEC innovation team, the team is future-proof and supports a wide range of topics.

Role: Develop and provide global regulatory advice to optimize business opportunities while safeguarding the company's reputation. Provide scientific and regulatory intelligence/support to high-complexity global commercial and technical projects and programs across multiple markets to meet or exceed current and future business requirements according to agreed timelines and budgets. Drive synergies between regions, integrate knowledge and support global innovation and delivery teams by connecting technology, marketing and legal teams to develop optimal and compliant business solutions. Understand consumer insights, new science and competitor strategies and integrate them into a global framework of regulatory advice, training and guidance to ensure the right decisions are made to benefit Global Recruitment.

What we're looking for: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific/technical field, including some food law content. Minimum of ⚠ years in an Global Recruitment/R&D role working on legislation and its commercial applications. Understand global food law, including interpretation and application. Ideally, laboratory experience includes the interpretation of scientific data and technical reports. Strong communication skills at all levels, ability to work under pressure of multiple deadlines, and strong influence. Evidence of endurance, agility and personal responsibility. Fluent in English (other languages preferred). Proficiency in the Word product suite. Willingness to travel around the world when necessary.
