Are you looking for an analytical job where you can understand a company's financial profile? Then become a part of our FP&A team! The team is responsible for providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management to improve decisions on investments, product innovation, budgets, opportunities and more. You will co-lead and coordinate the budget process as well as strategic and financial projects.

About the role

As the FP&A Controller you will report directly to the EU⚠ FP&A Manager who is responsible for cash and administrative expenses. You will ensure complete, high-quality, timely delivery of management reports and contribute to defining business objectives. You work with different teams (e.g. Finance, HR, Operations) and are a sparring partner to the company (management and internal stakeholders at Global Recruitment and Global Recruitment).

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Budgeting and Forecasting: You will support the budget process and strategic planning, handling department budgets and financial forecasting. They track financial results against budgets to organize the company's activities.
• Reporting: You will create, analyze and report department level financial information (Balanced Scorecard, overhead related KPIs, etc.) to achieve financial results and ad hoc analysis to explain variances between results and outcomes, develop financial KPIs and Comment on what matters Business Drivers. This way, you can provide management with timely, accurate, and relevant information while remaining accountable for the numbers you report.
• Process Definition: You evaluate existing internal reporting processes and procedures and recommend improvements to manage risk and ensure compliance.
• Business Acumen: You have an overall understanding of business principles and work with your managers to develop a holistic view of financial activities based on detailed financial activities. Interpret business results to assist (senior) management in considering business decisions.
• Improvement and Business Development Projects: You will lead projects related to the financial reporting process to ensure continuous improvement of area controls to optimize financial support to management.

About You

In order to achieve the above goals and be successful in this role, we believe you must have:

• Master's degree in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Finance or equivalent experience.
• At least ⚠-⚠ years of working experience in the financial department. Candidates with commercial/commercial/operational/FP&A control experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience using reporting tools preferred.
• They speak English fluently. Dutch and/or French is an advantage.
