Formulation Scientist

Our partners are looking for a Formulation Scientist to join their team. This international company is best known for its pharmaceutical products.

Support the development of monoclonal antibody formulations by applying manufacturing (buffer exchange) and analytical technologies (H/UPLC, cIEF, UV spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, etc.).

Prepare antibody preparations for stability studies and collect experimental data using established analytical methods.

Write accurate and precise experimental protocols for all activities in accordance with good scientific practice.

Assist in the preparation of study protocols and reports to justify the selection of preferred VR&DS Partners formulations.

Degree in biotechnology, biology or analytical (bio)chemistry. at the lowest limit. ⚠ years of experience in industry, analytical techniques and/or formulation, preferably with protein/antibody derived molecules.

Practical laboratory knowledge of HPLC/UPLC (especially size exclusion), cIEF, UV/Vis spectroscopy, DLS, CGE, rheology, etc.

Working knowledge and practical laboratory experience with antibodies and their formulations, including freeze-drying.

Experience or interest in protein structure modeling is an advantage.

Experience writing accurate and precise lab notes.

Applicants with experience in data analysis and interpretation, planning and summary report writing will be given priority.

Technical English is compulsory.

Familiarity with a creative, flexible, fast-paced and stimulating environment within a multi-disciplinary team.
