About Us

Global Recruitment is a non-profit organization (AISBL) that is dedicated to providing services to students, parents, and teachers of the European School of Brussels (EEB⚠). Around ⚠,⚠ students are enrolled in both schools' sites, this number provides essential services like transportation (⚠ daily bus lines), food, and extra-curricular activities. Global Recruitment has ⚠ employees on permanent contracts and around ⚠ employees on part-time and temporary contracts. The company is located on two separate sites: Woluwe-Saint-Lambert and Evere, and has a total revenue of approximately ⚠ million euros. The association has increased in size significantly over the past few years, and has devoted resources to digitizing its service offering. The Exact Online Suite, which is based on Salesforce, has been selected as the foundation for this endeavor. The association is registered as a Belgian company under the AISBL regulations.

What we offer

We offer a financial and administrative manager to become part of our management team. The financial and administrative manager is primarily responsible for the financial management of the company. They will jointly oversee the process of payment and invoicing, along with the director and line managers. He/she will also reconfigure and adapt these services to address new requirements. The financial and administrative manager is part of the management team that leads the business as a whole, the manager is expected to participate in the development of the business as a part of the team. He should be prepared to assume various roles in the general management.

Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and ensure the legitimate financial foundation of the organization.

Legal Management: Responsible for legal matters, when necessary, with the help of external experts. This involves taking care of contracts, conducting basic risk analysis, and addressing issues regarding personnel.

Budget Management: Communicate with service managers in order to forecast budgets, make sure they are in line with the organization's goals, regulate expenses, etc.

Revenue Management: Manage the process of invoicing, regulate and direct the development of IT projects associated with the association's business, account for all revenue, and actively combat payment delays.

Expense Management: Account for expenses, prepare payments according to the association's procedures, manage bank accounts, process documents from the social department, and provide useful information for human resources management.

Legal and financial obligations: Fulfill all of the legal and financial obligations of the association, including preparing statements of tax, participating in annual audits, and preparing statements of VAT.

You have a degree in accounting from higher education, a university, or other relevant experience in a similar position. You understand the legal obligations associated with the Companies Code, You understand the mainstream nature of accounting (eg. Exact Online), You have mastered Excel and other office tools, You are easily adept at other computer tools (e.g. A third language from Europe would be beneficial.
