Finance Manager, Business Ops Finance

The AB Ops Finance team is responsible for all financial reporting and analysis, planning and business engagement related to these end-to-end expenses. Our team is growing rapidly and expanding in scope, creating a rich environment for professional development.

The successful Finance Manager demonstrates a high level of ownership and is able to independently lead project evaluations and influence decisions with a variety of business partners. Within this growth and shadow P&L area, managers must adapt to a high degree of uncertainty, measure the impact and network impact of various projects, and report on AB's operations in the EU.

As Finance Manager at Global Recruitment Ops Finance, your key responsibilities include reporting on actual country-level performance against programmes, B⚠C networks and relevant region-specific business drivers to provide greater transparency into cost drivers, drill down into savings opportunities and help sustain The business approach is responsible for stringent Global Recruitment commitments, including influencing AB's long-term palletizing, consolidation and delivery experience strategy in EU countries to better serve commercial customers.

You will use your deep financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions and make recommendations at a regional level to deliver results, drive improvements and influence leaders across AB Ops and AB Finance.

You must understand the complexity of your transportation network and the potential risks associated with changing a range of network metrics, and evaluate the trade-offs between AB improvements and the impact on the broader Global Recruitment network. Ownership responsibilities also include influencing direct business partners in Global Shipping Services and business and financial partners in Global Recruitment's supply chain and being able to measure the impact of various projects, investments and other decisions on key strategic initiatives and influence decisions and decision offsets cost.

About the Team

The AB Ops Finance team is responsible for all financial reporting, planning and business engagement related to Global Recruitment Business's core operating costs. The team continues to grow and is on track to achieve key challenging goals in ⚠ to increase cost transparency, deliver meaningful cost insights and become a global business partner. We directly support the AB Director of Operations and his growing global team and work closely with AB Finance senior leadership. The team plans to achieve challenging savings targets in ⚠ and it is our responsibility to create a strong mechanism to hold our operators accountable and drive future improvements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science)
• ⚠+ years experience
• Experience in tax, finance or related analytical fields
• ⚠+ years of advanced knowledge in Excel (pivot, search, etc.) experience

Priority Qualifications

• MBA or CPA
• ⚠+ years of experience creating and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving
• ⚠+ years of experience supervising junior finance and/or business team members
• ⚠+ years of experience presenting to executives
• Experience using large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g.: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g.: Oracle, SAP, Global Recruitment, Global Recruitment)
