Exchange Expert

We are looking for a Communications Specialist to work for one of our prestigious clients in Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid Working). Day-to-day management of Exchange infrastructure (on-premises/hybrid).

Serves as the primary subject matter expert and CTO for Email (MS Exchange). Lead improvements in all relevant service components. Work towards achieving the goals of project activities assigned to agile sprints. Maintain system documentation. Support procedures and rotation/coverage protocols through proactively managed preventive escalation cycles.

Develop your ability as a subject matter expert to configure and maintain on-premises/online Exchange services from a service management perspective, including configuration, enhancement, and planned maintenance.

Implement a daily/weekly/monthly inspection schedule and develop ways to improve, simplify, and automate environmental health.

Extensive experience in the design, implementation, management and maintenance of MS Exchange and Microsoft ⚠.

If you have:

• Relevant administrative experience including configuration, SMTP mail routing, MX records, content filtering, quarantine management, security investigations, access requests from affected persons.
• Experience delivering heavy duty/mission critical systems ⚠/⚠.
• Understand the service management discipline involved in the engagement, design, deployment and maintenance life cycle of high-tech or IT services.
• ⚠+ years of Microsoft Exchange ⚠/⚠/⚠/⚠/Online server experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Exchange migrations (on-premises to on-premises, on-premises to cloud).
• General understanding of networking (load balancing, firewalls...)
• Experience with large-scale Exchange and/or Active Directory multi-tenant deployments.
• Advanced scripting/Powershell experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex environments and quickly determine root cause.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English (at least C⚠).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solution-oriented mind.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Can learn the process quickly.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Feel comfortable in an international and multicultural work environment.
• Punctual, attentive and reliable.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge/or experience in an ITIL environment.
• Microsoft certifications including MSCE and more.
• Experience with mobile device management solutions preferred.
• Previous experience with SQL.
• Experience with Active Directory design and implementation.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• EU languages.
• Attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• College degree or ⚠+ years of experience in a complex IT environment.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange.
• Splunk knowledge is an advantage.
