EU Senior Category Manager

Our global procurement organization team is growing and we are recruiting a Senior Category Manager to join the European Construction Procurement team. Overview

As a Senior Category Manager, you will establish and be responsible for building strategic relationships with suppliers and senior internal stakeholders while building collaboration within the organization and across organizational boundaries. You will conduct critical procurement activities and ensure the availability of equipment and services to achieve business objectives while minimizing risk. You will become a trusted advisor on strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. You work side by side with stakeholders to deliver the best end customer experience. Define, develop and deliver long-term sourcing strategy and lead key initiatives with cross-functional teams; drive the category roadmap decision-making process with senior leadership. Facilitate business relationships with suppliers with the primary aim of achieving optimal cost and performance; leading supplier performance management; including improving sustainability and social responsibility; coordinating and collaborating with local teams to implement and manage your defined strategy implementation.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience owning project strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior management.
• Experience using data and metrics to identify and drive improvements.
• Experience in procurement, commercial, contract and/or (sub)contractor relationship management in the construction industry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization.
• Master's degree or MBA in business administration, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.
