Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Analyst

As an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Analyst, you are responsible for conducting research and analysis of environmental, social and governance practices to support growth, maintain efficiency and positively impact the company's overall well-being.

To ensure we act in an ESG-compliant manner, monitor changes in regional (EU) and local legislation and shall ensure compliance with the company's energy, environmental and site safety compliance requirements.

Analyze ESG indicators and their evolution to predict what impact they will have on our company's long-term performance.

Examine ESG risks and opportunities for companies and industries.

Develop ESG strategies to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate and coordinate local impact projects to meet ESG regulatory requirements: compliance agenda (regular legal requirements) and self-audits.

Report on asbestos investigations and coordinate asbestos removal plans.

Energy audit (HVAC, electricity and gas consumption, generation and storage).

Environmental permit applications (LPG tanks, new installations...)

Wastewater discharges and testing of by-product waste streams (OVAM, Valipac, IVCIE)

Carbon (CBAM) and nitrogen emissions disclosure projects

Compliance with the Corporate Assurance Manual

Sets the foundation for performance

Energy consumption of our website and Supply

Develop a culture plan (how to engage people through communication and sustainability awareness)

Draw the CSRD requirements of the website, create templates and set up annual reporting tools

Calculate taxes on industrial activities and verify regulatory compliance

Bachelor's - or Master's; Technology and/ Or a legal background is an advantage.

Passionate about sustainability and environmental science.

Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders and create a GDC sustainability roadmap with milestones and goals.
