The Role of a Professional Fluids and Piping Engineer

Work with engineering firms to develop comprehensive fluid system designs. Optimize the configuration of these fluid systems to increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and increase overall system reliability. Lead Fluids focuses on projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Ensures fluid systems are designed and operated in compliance with regulatory guidelines and project requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team during the design, construction and commissioning phases. Stay current on relevant rules, regulations and industry standards related to fluid systems and environmental requirements. Learn about the latest innovations in fluid power (materials, technologies, etc.). Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations to communicate progress and results. Assist with construction execution plans to ensure actual seamless installation of instruments and process control design and flawless commissioning. Support during construction and commissioning phases.

The Role of the Utility Discipline Engineer

Work with engineering firms to develop integrated utility system designs. Optimize the configuration of these utility systems to increase efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve overall system reliability. Lead utility-focused projects from conception to completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met. Ensure utility systems are designed and operated in compliance with regulatory guidelines and project requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance to the project team during the design, construction and commissioning phases. Stay current on relevant rules, regulations and industry standards related to utility systems and environmental requirements. Learn about the latest innovations in practical technology (materials, techniques, etc.). Prepare technical documents, reports, and presentations to communicate progress and results. Assist with construction execution plans to ensure actual seamless installation of instruments and process control design and flawless commissioning. Support during construction and commissioning phases.

Requirements

  • Technical master's degree in a related field
  • At least ⚠ years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an international team
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience with advanced simulation tools, CAD software, and technical analysis methods
