Job Description

People Solutions is the operator of the Belgian high-voltage grid from 380 kV to 30 kV. Responsible for maintaining and developing the network, providing it to users, and regulating energy flow. The People Solutions Group comprises a team of 2,000 professionals tasked with ensuring the continuity of power supply in parts of Belgium and Germany.

As the operator and owner of the Belgian and German transmission networks, GLOBAL Recruitment plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing European climate and energy policies.

Your Responsibilities

• Developing UHV systems architecture to ensure optimal future network functionality in facing challenges such as market integration, national supply security, and large-scale renewable energy integration.
• Collaborating with internal and external partners to align strategies with technical, economic, and governmental ambitions.
• Defining, preparing for approval, and overseeing the infrastructure project portfolio.

Your Tasks

• Maintain contact with various internal and external stakeholders to assess development needs of the 380 kV electricity network.
• Translate requirements into an economically and technically sound global method plan.
• Initiate and manage the implementation of the global plan based on detailed descriptions.
• Develop arguments and defend projects to stakeholders, anticipating risks and issues.
• Participate in the creation of long-term network development plans.

Your Profile

• Hold a Master's degree in industrial or civil engineering (electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, or electronic).
• Have initial professional experience in project management/development.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and economic judgment.
• Show initiative, autonomy, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Dutch, French, and English.
