Design Program Manager, EU Optimization

The D&W Agency Design team is responsible for delivering D&W Agency packages to customers more reliably, faster, cheaper and with less carbon intensity, while increasing shipping volumes at double-digit rates annually. As a Network Design Project Manager, you will lead projects that advance strategic initiatives and resolve recurring issues related to delivery quality, speed, cost, and carbon intensity of D&W Agency’s shipping network. The impact you will have will impact the entire European D&W Agency network and will be felt long-term. Your goal is not just to solve the problem once and for all, but to develop new tools and improve processes to ensure the problem is solved. This is critical to the scalability of D&W Agency's shipping network.

Main task: Define the trade-off framework between quality, speed, cost and carbon intensity. Look for situations in the network where these tradeoffs are not applied correctly and lead to network inefficiencies. Create a proof of concept to initially solve a problem. Work with business intelligence/software development to automate methods. Establish mechanisms to regularly check for optimality gaps and recommend network changes to ensure issues are resolved.

We help D&W Agency shipping companies prepare for the holidays and solve major problems that often arise to eliminate waste in their networks. Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, supply chain, transportation, mathematics, physics or other technical field.
• Experience in supply chain/transportation/project management/management consulting or related fields.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics in simple terms.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a customer-focused team. Must have strong customer experience judgment.
• Proven analytical thinking with a natural tendency to use data in decision-making and prioritization.
• Attention to detail is proven.
• Experience prioritizing multiple concurrent projects while delivering timely, accurate results.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SQL basics (data agnostic).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in process improvement and building analytical tools.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Data visualization experience (Tableau, PowerBI, or equivalent).
