Who are we looking for?

As we expand our operations in Luxembourg, we are looking for experienced alternative custody regulatory professionals to join the custody team. The Depository Oversight Team takes over the depository functions of alternative investment funds and UCITS. The candidate serves as deputy to the team leader, representing the team internally and to customers. The candidate will work closely with this/her manager and colleagues from the Legal and Operations departments and other State Street offices.

Roles available and what you will be responsible for

Duties and Responsibilities of a Managed Analyst

Carry out day-to-day operations related to the requirements of the AIFMD and UCITS V Guidelines, and to the provisions of CSSF Circulars ⚠/⚠ and ⚠/ ⚠. Analysis assets acquired by the fund and determines the ownership verification process. Review cash flow monitoring and assess whether further investigation is required. Perform supervisory duties (e.g. NAV monitoring). Support the presentation of managed services to potential customers and internal parties. Participate in the identification and evaluation of relevant legal documents related to alternative multi-residence structures, such as private placement memorandums, stock purchase agreements, corporate and financing documents, title deeds, etc. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the custodian and follow up with third parties, including administrators and fund managers. Participate in due diligence on third parties and customers (AIFM/ManCos) Identify and evaluate relevant information on alternative structures/UCITS relevant to transactions and cash flow

Education and preferred qualifications

Degree in Law, Business or Finance Minimum ⚠ to ⚠ years of professional experience Experience in a similar role; ideally working in a custodian bank
