Your role

Global Recruitment is looking for a Demand Response Market Analyst. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to the energy transition and you will assume your responsibilities immediately. Based on the technical data you receive and taking into account current market conditions, you can calculate the flexible power potential for industrial customers. You can earn your customers' trust by making clear assumptions about industrial processes and convince them with quality research. You work closely with Technical Account Managers within your team who work directly with customers. You will work with clients to translate detailed research into easy-to-understand quotes. Therefore, your communication skills (written and verbal) are just as important as your analytical skills! Additionally, you will participate in the daily pricing of your Global Recruitment portfolio on the reserve market. Global Recruitment is a leading aggregator in the Netherlands and other European countries. You participate in strategic offers and calculate bills for industrial customers. During this process, you should carefully comply with the rules of the network operator TenneT and take into account market conditions (compensation prices, etc.). Therefore, a good understanding of the Dutch energy market or a strong interest in this subject is required.

Your task:

  • Evaluate the flexibility attributes of the new location system.
  • Identify and quantify different risks.
  • Evaluate the value these locations can add to the portfolio based on flexibility characteristics and our current portfolio.
  • Work with Technical Account Managers to create technical proposals and provide technical support to new and existing customers.
  • Support the integration of assets into our investment portfolio.
  • Provide customer support and communicate directly with our customers.

Your skills and your profile.

  • Database design and management skills.
  • Database structure and algorithm capabilities.
  • Data preparation and pattern recognition.
  • Strong data analysis skills.
  • Pro-active approach and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Technical interest in new technologies and passion for energy are a must.
  • Fluent English and Dutch language skills. Any other language has advantages.
  • You have a master's degree, preferably in engineering.
  • You are flexible, not afraid to think outside the box, and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
  • You are results-oriented and have a pragmatic, professional attitude.
  • You are a team player with a "can-do" mentality.
  • Strong internal and external written and verbal communication skills.

What we offer:

  • You will enjoy a flexible entrepreneurial environment at the headquarters of a multinational company.
  • You can join our extensive training programs covering technical and cross-cutting topics.
  • You have the opportunity to participate in European business and industrial events.
  • You participate in various team building activities.
  • You'll find a job with a lot of responsibility and freedom.
  • You'll be part of a passionate team in an informal company culture.
  • You play an active role in the energy transition.
  • We offer an attractive salary package including meal and mobility allowance.
  • We drive innovation in new energy services and inspire through interesting projects.
  • We promote (inter)national mobility and flexible working hours.
