Continuous Improvement Lead

Key Responsibilities include:

• Participating in morning meetings to address a variety of topics including downtime, production challenges, and quality issues.
• Analyze data and reports from our MES system, examine trends and identify potential areas for improvement.
• Check in and discuss with our staff what exactly is going on on the shop floor.
• Lead improvement activities/projects involving operators, team leaders, quality specialists, technical staff, and other stakeholders using a continuous improvement (CI) approach.
• Develop clear and effective work instructions and one-to-one training for our operators.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to all staff involved in the change process and new ways of working.
• Lead the entire change process.

Ideally, you will spend ⚠% of your time working on projects and developing improved ways of working, while keeping in touch with the day-to-day activities/issues in the workshop.

About you:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Applied Sciences (Biology, Engineering, Chemistry...)
• Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methods, focusing on food production is a clear advantage.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills by successfully working with cross-functional teams.
• A problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• You have the ability to work effectively with ground staff and management to identify and resolve issues in French, Dutch, and English.
