For one of the larger ⚠ companies, we are actively seeking a professional that can consolidate finances: IFRS and the Belgian version of GAAP. We rely on you!

IFRS Consolidation will be the primary advocate for national and international clients, ensuring the fidelity and effectiveness of the financial reporting process, you'll maintain the consolidated tool.

You'll create both internal and external financial reports, including both seasonal and annual statements that are in accordance with the Belgian guidelines for preparing financial statements, as well as the IFRS.

Your duties include conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual integration processes that will produce figures that are consolidated as quickly as possible and in accordance with the policies of the group and the legal standards.

You will provide guidance, assistance, and support to local financial teams regarding specific matters of consolidation and IFRS repairs. Operating without supervision, you address assignments on your own, having the ability to handle increasingly difficult situations.

The collaboration between team members and colleagues from other departments is crucial to your daily duties. You will help promote the growth of the Business Process Solution (BPS) profession in our office in Brussels.

A minimum of five years of relevant experience, with at least three years dedicated to consolidation, whether internal or external. Understanding the principles of IFRS and BEGAAP.

Fluency in French and Dutch, plus a basic understanding of English, is necessary. Your pastime: accounting, combined with a proficiency in IT.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities are necessary, along with the capacity to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an effective manner.
