Our client is looking for a Clean Finish Engineer in our office in Neville. Clean Finishes Engineers will play a vital role in ensuring that construction projects in the pharmaceutical industry meet high aesthetic and GMP quality standards.

What is this character about? "The ideal candidate will have expertise in surface preparation of walls, doors, paint, flooring, and other interior design elements with a focus on cleanliness, pharmaceutical environments, and precision.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning: Work with architects, professional engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design specifications related to cleaning surfaces. Develop basic and detailed plans and schedules for cleaning surfaces, considering project schedule and budget constraints.
2. Material selection and procurement: According to the project design and budget considerations, research, evaluate and recommend materials suitable for cleaning surfaces. Be prepared to prepare ITT, BOQ, and technical specifications for small or large projects. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
3. Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure clean surfaces comply with industry standards and project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify and correct any deficiencies or deviations from design requirements.
4. Technical Expertise: You have in-depth knowledge of various clean finish technologies, including paint, flooring, wall coverings, and other decorative applications. Stay up to date on industry trends and advancements in clean surface treatment technology and incorporate them into project planning. You should be able to use AutoCAD ⚠D and Revit ⚠D. Have Belgian documentation Approval or industrial site master planning experience preferred.
5. Coordination and Communication: Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other project team members to coordinate clean completion activities with the overall construction schedule. Communicate effectively with team members to address challenges and provide up-to-date information to ensure smooth project delivery.
6. Budget management: Develop and manage a budget for cleaning surfaces and ensure a cost-effective solution without sacrificing quality. Track expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field. Minimum of ⚠ years of extensive experience as a Clean Finish Engineer or a similar position on a construction project or engineering firm. Experience working on projects targeting sustainability or LEED certification is preferred. French and English Fluent in Dutch preferred. Ability to travel - Nationwide. Individual should be willing to work on client sites most of the time. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, finish technologies, and industry best practices.
