Claims Handler Auto

A leading insurance company based in Brussels is looking for a dedicated and experienced motor claims handler to join our team. If you are passionate about the insurance industry and are fluent in Dutch, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities as Auto Claims Handler:

• Assist clients in Dutch: Assist brokers and clients via phone with vehicle insurance claims and follow up on claim documents.
• Claim Investigation: Open a file containing the necessary documents to thoroughly investigate a car insurance claim.
• Policy Evaluation: Reviews insurance coverage for reported incidents and assesses liability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with brokers and experts to analyze all aspects of a client’s situation and compare with insurance conditions.
• Cost Assessment: Determine the cost of coverage based on policy conditions and make informed decisions about accepting or denying a claim.
• Administrative Tracking: Ensures efficient administrative processing of claims documents and monitoring of the financial settlement process.

Ideal Automated Claims Processor Profile:

• Education: Ideally have a bachelor's degree in insurance or related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience processing auto insurance claims or a similar position.
• Autonomous and Proactive: Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a Global Recruitment.
• Analytical Skills: Possess strong analytical skills to evaluate and process complex insurance claims.
• Language skills: Fluent in Dutch (oral and written). Knowledge of French is an advantage.
