We are looking for a Chemical Regulation Engineer for a client specializing in the automotive industry.

Activities:

• Continue to collect, evaluate and evaluate IMDS and MSDS data for compliance with EU regulations (REACH, ELV SCIP, etc.) and company policies.
• Implement action plans to eliminate restricted chemical substances in materials and parts.
• Facilitate the possible collection of information on controlled substances and impact assessments in the EU.
• Closely track substances at all steps of the authorization process and track the elimination of banned substances through surveys.
• Conduct supplier surveys to assess their processes related to chemical management and their ability to respond to company requirements in a timely manner.

Deliverables:

• Technical reports summarizing the conclusions and next steps for each project completed.
• Young professionals with some basic knowledge of chemicals management and related regulations.
• Chemical/materials engineering background.
• Able to quickly analyze data and make Kaizen suggestions for data management.
