For this large retail client, we are looking for a Category Manager. The Category Manager is responsible for managing the category, both online and offline. Together with the Trade Manager and the Category Manager Assistant(s), you will be responsible for developing the commercial strategy. You will play a key role in developing a marketing strategy for the category. You will determine the price range, sales location, and shelf design to encourage customers to make purchases. You will be responsible for the financial expansion of market share for stores + online shops. You will utilize effective negotiation skills to secure the best possible deals. Working closely with the trader, producing realistic and clear proposals.

You will analyze data and customer cards to identify what customers are looking for. You have a passion for Retail and have at least ⚠ years of experience in Retail/FMCG environments. You are creative and innovative: you bring new ideas to the table and know how to maintain your own position in supplier negotiations.
