Category Manager ICT International

Corresponding to this philosophy, we are seeking a Procurement Category expert, ICT professional who will assist in the transition across all of the R&VDB Link company's European, North American and Asian entities. You will report to the head of procurement, be responsible for the management of categories and the strategic procurement of ICT goods.

About your role:

• The Category Expert ICT possesses a vision and takes leadership in the sourcing of ICT, which includes on-premises infrastructure, data centers, clouds, servers, storage, network and database management.
• You will provide guidance, counsel and strategic insight to the procurement team and the larger organization regarding matters pertaining to ICT procurement.
• You will utilize comprehensive knowledge of the market and data analysis to (re)categorize the (sub-)types, define the Category as it relates to other types, and manage suppliers in a competent manner.
• You will create and lead teams of stakeholders that will define and execute the Category Strategy, these teams will have direct access to the Strategy and will guide the functional team through the key projects that are strategic in nature and have value to the organization.

• Developing a long-term perspective and plan for the (underlying) categories in your scope (including but not confined to procurement).
