Job Description: Carpenter

The U.S. Ambassador's office in Brussels is seeking a Carpenter to join the facility management section of the company. The position would involve mending, adjusting, and installing doors, windows, hardware, wall, ceiling, and floor coverings, sunshades, and blinds. The Carpenter will also assist with various manual tasks such as demolition of buildings, painting, plumbing, carpentry, routine and preventative maintenance, and general cleaning of areas.

Requirements:

• Education: A secondary school diploma and/or practical training in carpentry
• Experience: ⚠ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of building components, furnishings, and device operations
• Language: Adequate knowledge of the Dutch or French language. Limited English proficiency
• Driver's License: Valid driver's license
