Job Description: Business Intelligence Engineer

Do you have a passion for collecting data? Is the potential to deal with large amounts of data exciting you? We seek a Business Intelligence Engineer to assist with the setup and delivery of accurate, structured reporting, analysis and models for the Air, Line-haul and Sortation teams in Europe. You will have a significant role in developing our strategic innovation program by providing the project teams with knowledge about the operational performance.

You will have an interest in detail, are proficient in SQL/DW/Python and have a talent for addressing difficult data and reporting issues. The position necessitates you to feel comfortable collaborating with and communicating with other functional departments, both regionally and globally. The job will have a base in Luxembourg. You will report to a Senior Manager, who will work alongside his larger project team, including finances. Key Duties:

• Analysis of pertinent history and its translation into technical requirements.
• Independently realize the requirements of Business Intelligence and develop custom software.
• Create test cases and guide business stakeholders through the testing process.
• Present solutions and implementable features within a weekly sync with business stakeholders.
• Own the maintenance of the system and the error handling of the deployed solutions.
• Complete one to two major projects in parallel, focusing on the delivery of the solution.

Having data visualization experience using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools. Having one or more industry analysis tools that are visualized (e.g. Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and other statistical tools (e.g. t-test, chi-square). Technical experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, or R). Technical experience with SQL Server and the data space. Preferred Qualifications: a master's degree, or additional technical education regarding data modeling and data pipeline design.
