Business Intelligence Engineer, Supply Chain Placement Analytics

This role will give you unique insights into Global Recruitment's systems, processes, and operations and enable you to collaborate with planning, operations, and technology teams. If you're committed to understanding complexity in detail to drive improvements at scale, and have a proven track record of analyzing and drilling into complex data to generate insights and business recommendations, we'd love to talk with you.
The position is preferably based at our EU headquarters in Luxembourg.
Design and own the right metrics to evaluate, audit and improve the efficiency of IXD processes and placement systems. It is recommended to improve placement strategies using modeling and large data sets. They guide planning teams and other relevant stakeholders in placing product portfolios across Global Recruitment properties to maximize selection and reduce proximity to customers. Work with the technical team to define key priorities to meet growing business needs and implement your recommendations in production Intelligent provisioning in Global Recruitment systems. Develop the analytics needed to visualize opportunities and measure success. Research, develop, document and present new opportunities at all levels of supply chain, finance, FBA and retail leadership.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or related quantitative field
- Experience using industry standard business intelligence to gather business requirements - for extracting data, tools for developing metrics, and creating reports
- Experience building and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g., ETL, data models, queries)
- Experience applying basic statistical methods (e.g., regression) to difficult business problems
- Ability to translate complex technical problems into Provide business stakeholders with simple terminology to support and facilitate decision-making at all levels of leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
- Experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with a scripting language (e.g. Python, Java or R)
