The Automated Inventory Management team within Global Recruitment

The organization's supply chain optimization technologies (Global Recruitment) have access to the Global Recruitment global inventory management system: we determine the quantity of merchandise to purchase in order to fulfill Global Recruitment's business goals and to make our customers happy. We accomplish this for many different items, and for hundreds of different product lines that have a value of over $⚠ billion in worldwide inventory. Our systems are entirely made in house, and are among the most advanced in the field of automated large-scale business, inventory and supply chain planning and optimization. We advocate for new ideas that can change the game, which will lead to more intelligent and self-learning systems that will maximize the effectiveness of Global Recruitment's inventory decisions and investment.

The Automated Inventory Management team within Global Recruitment seeks a motivated and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to create analytical models and tools that will automate the auditing of the Global Recruitment systems. These instruments may include algorithms, metric calculators, dashboards, processes and workflow management. The successful candidate will have the ability to harvest and model quantitative data, and will have a comfortable foundation to work on new, sometimes ambiguous problems from concept to completion. They will have superior communication and leadership abilities, and will collaborate with other organizations (e.g. Software development, entrepreneurs, product managers, and other participants must be involved in the process to ensure quality results.

Additionally, we want this candidate to increase the standards in any of the following areas: Data Warehousing, Data Architecture, Performance-based Self Service and Data analysis. The candidate may be willing to collaborate with the other Bies in order to address issues at the system scale and establish the basis for a healthy data products offering while fulfilling the requirements of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating audits that are intended to identify trends or problems at a larger scale for many products and multiple markets globally
  • Assessing the entire process of creation and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating with other auditors and creating new solutions to automate the business process of identifying and addressing problems
  • Supporting the enhancement of the automated audit process by integrating new audits and providing input on the future planned development/roadmap
  • Developing dashboards and insight products

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with SQL

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with design and implementation of custom reporting systems using automation tools
