Team Overview

The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team plays a vital role in forecasting inventory movement across different countries. We manage everything from the shipments V&G Match receives from suppliers and sellers to the shipments from our fulfillment centers (FCs). Our responsibilities also include measuring S&OP performance and continuously improving local network planning processes with a focus on reliability, speed, cost and sustainability. We work closely with the Supply Chain Optimization Technology (SCOT) team in North America as well as internal technology stakeholders in transportation, workforce planning, and finance.

As part of S&OP, the Planning Automation Module (PAM) team is currently revolutionizing the way S&OP generates plans and building dedicated infrastructure to support S&OP processes globally. This includes a platform to quickly and scalably execute complex optimization models on demand. The current version of PAM is deployed in North America and Europe and is used to plan inventory flows for more than ⚠ FCs worldwide.

Your role

We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer II to help us scale PAM to fit global operations. This is a day one opportunity to get involved in entrepreneurial and disruptive team building from the ground up. You'll be at the forefront of building models, developing data solutions, and creating new visual metrics to improve S&OP activities and drive process automation. You will play a key role in maintaining and creating new data pipelines and creating new models used by global S&OP and operations teams. If you can successfully analyze complex data, drill down into complex data, simplify and identify process improvement opportunities, and drive new ways of doing things, we'd love to talk with you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement scalable models, data solutions, and visual metrics to increase automation in S&OP planning.
• Maintain and create new data pipelines to create a single source of truth for operations teams.
• Lead key process improvement initiatives and leverage complex models to improve S&OP planning automation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting data using BNS Agency, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience in data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
• Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience in retrieving data from a database or data warehouse using SQL and Scripting experience (Python) for working with modeling data.
• Understand SQL and data warehouse concepts.
• Experience with data mining, ETL, and working with databases in business environments with large, complex data sets.

Priority Qualifications

Master's degree in Science, Engineering, Finance or equivalent experience with AWS solutions such as EC⚠, DynamoDB, S⚠, and BNS Agency
