Business Intelligence Engineer, GTS

Global Recruitment is looking for a proactive candidate to develop innovative solutions for our European transportation network, with a focus on building data pipelines and data-driven models to fine-tune or build services and optimize our transportation network. Most importantly, the ideal candidate is passionate about data and analytics and enjoys working with the Global Recruitment Shipping team to identify strategic opportunities. We are looking for a Business Intelligence Engineer with experience in data manipulation, building data pipelines, and statistical modeling/analysis. Work with huge data sets, merge data from different sources and manipulate it to get the desired format. You should have expertise in creating and managing records. Learn how to implement and operate robust, scalable data flow solutions from production systems to end-user applications/reports. You are detail-oriented and must have the ability to solve unstructured problems. Understand the business realities behind large amounts of data and develop meaningful solutions through analysis. Demonstrate deep technical knowledge in feature engineering of massive datasets, effective exploratory data analysis, and statistical modeling.

About the Team

When you join our E⚠E Analytics – Central Customer Experience team, you will work across all regions and teams involved in shipping fulfillment, which has a direct impact on our customers and the Global Recruitment business. We are open to candidates willing to work in one of the following locations: Luxembourg, LUX

Basic Qualifications

• Experience analyzing and interpreting data using Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience doing data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools or other industry analytics Visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight, MicroStrategy, PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g., T-test, Chi-Square)
• Experience with scripting languages ​​(e.g., Python, Java, or R)
• SQL experience preferred

• Master's or advanced technical degree
• Learn about data modeling and data pipeline design
• Experience in statistical analysis and correlation analysis
