JobHive is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Global Procurement Excellence (JobHive), Business Intelligence (BI) team. JobHive is part of the Global Procurement Organization (GPO). It is JobHive’s only channel to create, deliver and maintain core procurement capabilities globally while implementing best-in-class S⚠P policies, processes and digital solutions. This pillar promotes efficiency, control, and compliance and consistently delivers a user- and supplier-centric procurement experience across teams, companies, and geographies. BI provides procurement leaders with metrics-driven capabilities through reporting and analytics products that are secure, powerful, scalable, and sustainable. We let the data speak for itself. Actionable analytics is part of our culture and we insist on timely, accurate, scalable and actionable business intelligence. Business Intelligence Engineers should be able to handle a fast-paced environment and handle multiple deliverables while being able to effectively prioritize and effectively communicate progress and obstacles. Manage a portfolio of BI solutions related to supplier risk and performance management, collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and effectively communicate progress and impediments to project teams and sponsors. Identify serious business issues and make written recommendations on solutions that will drive the future of EU operational procurement design and processes, be customer-centric and improve operational efficiency. Developed ETL jobs and analysis layers that required in-depth understanding of scripting and OLAP concepts (data marts, data cubes, Python-based data analysis layer, etc.). Implement metadata management and follow key data governance practices. Develop visualizations that are fast and easy to understand. Adopt existing best practices or work to improve them; solution design, development, validation, and documentation practices. A day in the life of a business intelligence engineer manages the needs of a large number of customers, understands how they work, and is able to develop solutions that bring the right strategic value to the business. Improve how customers interact with data and analytics. Work cross-functionally and interact with other technical and non-technical teams around the world to coordinate requirements and solutions. Develop and maintain strong networks and partnerships across the organization and build trusting relationships. Keep customers and stakeholders informed. Innovations in data technology, analytics, statistics and visualization.
