Job Description: Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) - EU Transportation Team Are you interested in working at the intersection of data and transportation? If yes, this role is perfect for you. The EU Transportation team is looking for a BIE to act as the primary liaison for the EU DEA (Delivery Estimate Accuracy) team. This role will play a crucial part in the team's delivery performance. As a BIE, you will oversee the data infrastructure and lay the groundwork for new tools in collaboration with Data Scientists and Business Analysts. You will engage directly with Business Elite leaders, build partnerships with Technical departments and other Science teams, and collaborate with technology leaders to define strategies and system settings. Your responsibility will extend to ensuring that planned actions are translated into project plans and achieving specific objectives. Structural changes in ongoing processes will drive technical innovation within the team, prompting a change management approach geared toward adopting new solutions. Working alongside data scientists and business analysts, you will focus on creating the most efficient end-to-end tools. You will manage the team's Databases and AWS services, as well as oversee budgetary considerations. A key aspect of your role will involve balancing short-term solutions for immediate challenges with long-term goals. About the Team The EU team comprises BIEs focused on ensuring that data solutions and products are tailored to equip the team with the necessary tools for evaluating operations and providing exceptional customer experiences. Location We are looking to fill this position in one of the following locations: Luxembourg, LUX Requirements Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Python, Django, and SQL Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar Familiarity with AWS tools such as EC⚠, Redshift, and Global Recruitment in data modeling and data pipeline design Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include a master's degree or an advanced technical degree in computer science.
