Business Intelligence Engineer, EU AMZL Business Analytics and Tools

This position is suitable for a passionate, energetic, analytical, innovative, hands-on, customer-focused Business Intelligence Engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience working with large data sets and distributed computing technologies. The candidate enjoys working with large amounts of data, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical relationships and, most importantly, is passionate about data and analytics. They are experts in data modeling, ETL design, and business intelligence tools, and have working knowledge of column-based databases (such as Redshift) and other related AWS technologies.

You are passionate about working with clients to identify strategic opportunities in data engineering. You are proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying close attention to detail), and enjoy working in a fast-paced team that is constantly learning and growing day in and day out.

We are open to candidates willing to work in one of the following locations: Luxembourg, LUX micro-strategy), PowerBI) and statistical methods (e.g. T-test, Chi-square)

SQL experience

Experience creating and maintaining basic data artifacts (e.g. ETL, data models, queries)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or advanced technical degree
• Understanding of statistics for data modeling and data pipeline design
• Analysis, correlation analysis experience
• Scripting language experience (e.g. Python, Java or R)
