About the role
The Business Development Manager (‘BDM') is located in Brussels, Belgium. You'll have remote access to the company and will take on the role of understanding, qualifying and winning over new customers as well as taking part in the development of new software and departments with existing customers. Reporting to and working alongside the Regional Sales Leader, the BDM will concentrate on marketing our award-winning automated communication solutions to large Government (local, state and federal) customers and large enterprise customers with a particular focus on the financial services/banking, health, education, retail and logistics industries.
- The primary purpose of this role is to deploy solutions to the Belgian market via our existing partners in channel.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Developing, executing and regularly updating a territory's Go To Market Plan, including the identification of accounts to target in specific markets and the tracking of progress towards goals
- Converting leads into clients and exploring new opportunities for business through a variety of methods, including utilizing existing networks, attending events dedicated to the industry, using LinkedIn's sales tool, and phone-based approaches
- Understanding the client's challenges, and mapping out their requirements, together with internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing and sales operations, pre-sales, products, and customer service teams) to create and sell effective solutions
- Preparing and delivering effective and engaging software solutions that will be of great value to our clients
- Overseeing the transition from new clients to the Customer Service team, ensuring the smooth onboarding of new clients and ongoing excellence in Service Delivery
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of local telecommunication regulations and related matters, customer interests, and customer purchasing patterns
- - Experience is necessary for this position, the necessary bachelor's degree is in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering, and must have a thorough knowledge of the spoken languages of France, England, and the Netherlands
- - Demonstrated experience in utilizing solutions that are sold and/or consulted during interactions with clients and partners
- - Good understanding of the telecommunication industry globally, automated communication, artificial intelligence, and the IT industry
- - Self-driven, motivated individuals, with the ability to work alone, are preferred
- - Excellent abilities in MS Office, including the ability to report
