Business Controller - Brussels

We are currently looking for an Operations Director with marketing and communications experience at an international listed company in Brussels. As a company, they specialize in developing and selling communications and advertising solutions for companies and individuals.

As an Operations Director, you will be part of a team of ⚠ Directors and include the following:

• Review accounting, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and monitor accounts receivable and past due accounts.
• Manage the end-to-end financial forecasting process and perform variance analysis to compare previous forecasts to actuals.
• Work with operations and account teams to monitor schedule accuracy.
• Responsible for supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc financial analysis.
• As a company sparring partner, support KPI management and analysis.
• Ensure accurate revenue management by tracking monthly bills and performing performance analysis by customer and type.
• Report monthly figures to the Group, review and reconcile balance sheet position and conduct analysis of provisions, debtors and creditors.
• Serve as point of contact for external and internal auditors.

You should have approximately ⚠ years of finance-related experience, preferably in advertising and/or media. A thorough understanding of accounting and business practices. Demonstrated strong team player and ability to thrive in high-pressure situations with tight deadlines. Value collaboration and make teamwork a core principle. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluency in English and French and knowledge of Dutch are considered a significant advantage.
