Your role
The Benelux Brand Manager is responsible for all marketing activities (mainly digital) for the Benelux market. The goal of this position is to increase Leatherman's brand awareness, ensure a consistent brand experience across all consumer touchpoints, and drive sales in local DTC channels (🔗 as well as marketplace platforms). The Brand Manager is part of Leathermann's European marketing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leatherman is the main local contact and country expert for all marketing activities in the Benelux market.
- Break down global digital marketing initiatives and programs into local digital marketing initiatives and campaigns for the Benelux market.
- Localization of global website content, including text and translation.
- Manage consumer reviews on local Benelux websites.
- Work with outside agencies to plan and execute local online marketing campaigns for 🔗 (e.g. Google Ads, affiliate marketing, paid social).
- Manage local Benelux social media channels including setting up the local editorial calendar, community management and all other local social media activities.
- Build and manage a network of local brand ambassadors and influencers.
- Launched a digital PR campaign to further increase Leatherman’s visibility in the local market.
- Lead Leatherman's brand presence and digital marketing campaigns on local market platforms in collaboration with external agency partners.
- Localization of POS marketing materials and other marketing assets.
- Provide local market and consumer insights to global and EU marketing teams.
Qualifications
- Native Dutch speaker with in-depth knowledge of local Benelux markets, culture and consumers.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or ⚠-⚠ years of directly related experience in digital marketing.
- Has a strong digital marketing background with extensive experience in website management, online marketing and social media management.
- A passion for writing and a good feel for the Dutch language.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Possess strong written and public speaking skills in English.
- Proactive team player with a dynamic, proactive attitude who enjoys working in international and multicultural European teams.
- Ability to travel, up to ⚠-⚠ weeks per year.
