We are looking for a Back Office Engineer (Hybrid Working) for a well-known client in Brussels, Belgium.

Job Description

• Operational tasks on Oracle Directory Server and OpenLDAP
• Stop/Start LDAP server replication tasks (stop, start, resync, SSL)
• Execute LDAP query indexing jobs
• Troubleshooting through access, auditing, error logs
• Back up running instances from Restore instance backup
• Schema update
• ACI update
• LDAP server infrastructure upgrade to new version
• Patch server
• Install and configure the new server
• Support infrastructure projects (new applications, migrations, etc.)
• Improve current scripts
• Security
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on applications
• Analyze and resolve system-related vulnerabilities
• Management tasks
• Create incidents
• Manage incidents/service requests/information from outside world
• Create and lead change management (create tickets, procedures, documents)
• Create/Update files and programs
• Provide training and coaching to other agents (back office and front office)

Knowledge and Skills

• Database (must be available)
• Experience using Apache Ignite
• Experience using Derby
• Integration tool Git Bamboo Nexus
• Operating system Linux RedHat
• Middleware
• Oracle Weblogic server
• Tomcat server
• At least ⚠ years of experience in UNIX/Oracle infrastructure environment
• Able to adapt to changes quickly
• Good listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in English and French
• Punctual, careful, reliable
• Strong analytical skills and systematic problem solving
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Additional advantages:
