If so, we eagerly anticipate your return! Global Recruitment is seeking a Scientist with Applied Science experience in the EU headquarters in Luxembourg. As a significant part of the Research Science Team of the ATS operation, this individual will be tasked with designing computational solutions to data and math that will optimize the middle-mile transportation network of Global Recruitment. The successful applicant will ensure that our end-to-end strategies regarding customer demand are implemented, the path is followed, locations are consolidated, linehan is employed, and last-mile transportation is utilized. This critical role necessitates an aptitude for initiative and decision making, the capacity to innovate in the modeling of transportation and optimization across Global Recruitment's European network, and integrating into global initiatives and expansion strategies.
Design and prototype practical solutions to standardized procedures. Complexity of lead time, as well as long-term and ad-hoc transportation modeling studies that help management in making decisions. Communicate with the leadership is derived from business analysis, strategies and tactics (for the top candidates). Walk large-scale projects across the EU and augment the Global Recruitment's transportation network in Europe (for the most ambitious candidates). Partner with the planning, linehaul/airhaul, and sort center operations teams, while also working closely with the last-mile, supply chain, and global delivery departments, these departments will help you model and optimize the transportation network of the EU. Basic Qualifications
⚠+ years of experience in the building of models for business applications, a PhD, or a Master's degree and ⚠+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience. Experience in the following areas: Numerical optimization, data mining, or programming in Java, C++, or Python is desired. Additionally, a degree in professional software development is preferred.
