Application Engineer Valves

Presentation is key! But we don’t have to explain this to you. You are a technical expert with a talent for presentation, negotiation, and business opportunities. Once you serve as one of our Valve Applications Engineers, you will help strengthen Global Recruitment's offerings as a preferred partner for OEM and service and repair work. You specialize in valves and pneumatic/electric actuators and work with the application engineering team in our flow control department in Rosendal.

First, we want you to establish and maintain a good working relationship with our field sales team. You can create technically and commercially sound quotes and have the ability to answer any technical or commercial follow-up questions from clients or colleagues. We expect you to provide excellent service to make it easier for our customers to do business with Global Recruitment. Your location could be Rosendal, Antwerp or even Rotterdam, but your focus will always be on the Belgian market. Therefore, it is highly recommended to reach C⚠ level in French.

Your role:

• Brings extra enthusiasm and energy to the team.
• Work with your responsible sales engineer.
• Grow your business, increase customer satisfaction, and improve quote-to-order ratios.
• Provide detailed technical knowledge/advice on valve and actuator applications to internal and external customers.
• Direct commercial/legal questions regarding contract terms, delivery times, and documentation requirements to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with occasional travel to promote business development through presentations and training.

Your Profile

You can use your personal skills to create a steady stream of technically and economically sound offers in each specific situation. One of your qualities is that you deal with a wide variety of people, and you hardly feel the impact of external negative influences you may encounter During your workday. Your focus is always on the same goal: growing a sustainable company. Additionally, you have:

• Proven track record in technical (inside) sales, with a minimum of ⚠ years of experience.
• Expertise in valve applications in the oil and gas, energy, water, paper and/or chemical industries (control).
• Technical knowledge of fluids, corrosion, erosion, materials, valve specifications, technical drawings.
• Fluent in French and English.
