Y&M Partners divides its services into five business areas, of which Natural Resources (Minerals) involves quantity and quality control of ores, concentrates, coal, coke, ferroalloys, metals, fertilizers and industrial minerals.

Y&M Partners Spijkenisse recently expanded its production site with a new, state-of-the-art mineral laboratory. For this reason, we are looking to expand our team to maximize this new capability. Our mineral laboratory consists of ⚠ different departments, namely:

• Preparative, XRF and Fire Assay (Path ⚠)
• Copper, Spectrometry and Titration (Path ⚠)

To realize your potential, we offer you a clear Three-year training path. This path allows you to develop within three interrelated departments in a way that best suits your individual personality and skills. Each path will have an appropriate step-by-step plan based on individual circumstances.

Whichever path you choose, we'll give you the right internal and external support and training so you can develop at your best.

The ideal general mineral analyst for our laboratory will meet the following criteria:

• You have at least an MBO/Associate or equivalent undergraduate level chemistry education.
• Laboratory training/experience is an advantage but not required. We offer you comprehensive in-house and/or external training.
• Working knowledge of English.

Please note: In this role, you may be required to work two shifts, depending on the route you choose.
