Account Program Manager, Engineering Field Services

As a Program Manager at Google, you'll take on complex, multi-sector projects from the start to the finish - you'll collaborate with stakeholders to plan the requirements, manage the schedule, identify risks, and communicate with other departments clearly. Your initiatives will frequently cross the offices, time zones, and hemisferpheres. It's your job to arrange the players and keep them aware of the progress and deadlines. Establish and maintain a position as an advisor and advocate for internal customers regarding services utilized in non-GOOGLE data centers. Work with customers technical leads, executives, and partners to manage and provide infrastructure solutions. Become an acknowledged expert in data center infrastructure solutions, and provide practical advice regarding these technologies. Feedback from customers regarding the channel's performance is sent to the project management team in order to ensure an exceptional experience during production. Create practical recommendations for best practice that are derived from the experiences of customer interaction. Mid-level experience in driving progress, addressing issues, and mentoring less experienced team members; additional knowledge and expertise in the relevant field. Lowest requirements: a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. Candidates will typically have ⚠ years of experience in managing programs or projects. Experience in a formal account management, client service, or management consulting role. Experience in operating data centers. Preferred qualifications: Experience in a complex organizational environment (e.g., the Program Management Organization (PMO), geographic diversity, etc.). Experience leading projects that require coordination across multiple functions or teams. Traveling on a schedule is possible.
