Account Manager Industry Benelux


You report to the Sales Industry Executive and are actively involved in selling our sugar and specialty sugar products sourced from all European plants to the Benelux food industry. Your key responsibilities will be as follows:

You will be responsible for a portion of our existing sales to our existing industrial customers in Benelux. You can manage relationships with clients and prospects by actively visiting them and attending professional events.

You will work with existing customers to expand the product portfolio and further develop new projects for sugar and sugar specialty products. You will actively pursue customer needs, conduct qualitative and quantitative market trend research, and generate actionable insights.

You negotiate, sign contracts and prices with existing and new customers. You pursue the development of new business areas by actively prospecting for potential customers and communicating with interested parties in the industrial food market.

You will work closely with all relevant internal stakeholders (e.g. Customer Service, Quality and Food Applications Engineers) to handle customer complaints. They perform the required sales management promptly and correctly.

For this interesting commercial role, we are looking for someone with a passion for the food industry and a strong commercial drive. You also meet the following requirements:

You have a bachelor's/master's degree in food science, economics, or business science. You have at least ⚠ years of relevant work experience in a similar commercial position.

- You are self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently, and have a good team spirit. You speak Dutch, French and English fluently (written and spoken) and have good oral and written communication skills.
