The European School of Brussels III - Job Description

Position: Teacher with a religious faith supporting the Greek-speaking portion of the curriculum

Instruction Hours: 1.5 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term

Educational Year: 2024/25

Language Requirement: Greek (certified C2 level) - Native speaker or thorough understanding

Qualifications: Recognized qualifications and/or college degree related to teaching of Orthodox in primary curriculum

Visa Requirement: Visa from religious authority of the country granting teaching license

Additional Language: Knowledge of French/English

Citizenship: European or valid working license in Belgium

Teaching Skills:

• Effective differentiation in content and method
• Teaching students from diverse cultures

Collaboration: Ability to work with colleagues, management, and families

Contract Regulations: Follow Service regulations for locally recruited teachers in European schools

Starting Date: 1/9/2022

Availability: School year 2022/2024

Contract Duration: Fixed-term until end of school year

Work Sessions: Second day of the afternoon, with possible contract extension

Starting Salary: €178,20 per month per hour worked
