You will be stationed at the Technical Maintenance Post (TOP) of Kortrijk, within walking distance of Kortrijk station. The Kortrijk TOP is affiliated with the Oostends transportation company. They share responsibility for maintaining the electrical train, driver's carriage, and carriages.

Your tasks:

• Analyze and identify ETCS problems based on vehicle telemetry, Schematics, Notifications in SAP, etc.
• Collaborate on the production process to resolve ETCS issues when entering the vehicle.
• Act as the main contact point in Oostende regarding ETCS safety. Communicate with central research services and participate in Core Team meetings with central services in Brussels.
• Over time, provide instructions to employees on safety equipment.
• Responsible for the long-term stability and monitoring of the MR80 motorcar, the HLE18-controlled train, and carriages.

Admission Requirement: You must have a professional bachelor's degree in electromechanics, electronics, or a related field. A background in electronics-ICT is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Strong interest in technology (electricity, electronics, information technology...)
• Proficient IT skills for using current Microsoft Office applications and specific applications seamlessly.
• Understanding of SAP is beneficial.
• Ability to search for information easily and comprehend technical schematics.

You must be fluent in Dutch. Basic knowledge of both French and English is also required, along with a keen sense of initiative. Effective teamwork and communication skills (both verbal and written) are crucial. Authenticity, diversity, and inclusivity are highly valued.
