As a principal in Belgium, we have a complex system of processes and applications that primarily handle contractual issues. The IT P&C team is responsible for providing and maintaining mainframe applications that deal with corporate contracts. You will take part in the activities of the P&C team in relation to projects and maintenance. With your business partners, your responsibility will be to define the requirements of your business (including test cases), to follow up the delivery of the IT system and to test the features of the system before they are transferred to your business. You will serve as the focal point for all Business Analysts in order to achieve reviews, but also to provide rules regarding the delivery of requirements.

Your Role

• Providing rules regarding the delivery of requirements and functional content to other Business Analysts.
• Challenging solutions with an architecture that intersects with other projects.
• Being functional as a point of contact with the product team, including the product lead, but also serving as a business and other IT teams.
• Collecting and writing down the requirements of the business.
• Participative leadership in requirements definition by challenging business demands and ensuring proper development of the requirements before passing them to the development team.
• Involving the testing team in the requirements phase in order to prepare scenario details or perform tests yourself.
