Job description:
SGS has a range of exceptional services. The Natural Resources division is involved in the supervision and inspection of chemicals, gases, and oil products. As a sales executive, you serve customers in the Antwerp port in a dedicated team. As a relationship manager, you have unique knowledge of how to persuade customers, communicate the value of SGS to them, and embody SGS. Your tasks include:
- Actively seeking potential customers in the real estate market (hunting) and opening the right doors
- Maintaining existing customer relationships (cultivated) in collaboration with the customer service department
- Participating regularly in tenders
- Recognizing and converting customer needs into revenue with your experience and marketing skills
- Contributing to the development of a strategic plan and conducting market studies with the sales team across borders
- Implementing new projects or contracts within the organization
- Attending sector conferences domestically and internationally
You have a bachelor's or master's degree and experience in the chemical industry, petroleum industry, or logistics. Your creativity inspires you to recognize opportunities and know how to seize them by being ambitious and proactive. Independence, flexibility, and drive are essential resources you possess. You are a positive, mature person who associates empathy with diplomacy. You are skilled in delivering effective pitch sessions. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus. A good understanding of Dutch and English is essential. It is useful to learn additional languages. You are willing to occasionally travel abroad.
